Provides administrative support activities requiring a working knowledge of departmental mission and procedures. May support one or more individuals, but normally works in a confidential and highly responsible relationship with management at a more senior level of responsibility and discretion. Performs complex administrative support activities under general supervision and in close relationship to the day-to-day work of the departments(s) supported.

Requirements

Education/Credentials required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience/skills required:

  • Must be able to type 40 wpm
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs (excel, outlook, powerpoint, and word)

Physical and other requirements:

  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for extensive periods of time
  • Mobility
  • Ability to organize work to meet deadlines and to work under stressful conditions
