Job Description Coordinate and assist in maintaining internal control documentation to meet corporate objectives, management decision-making and compliance with regulatory or other reporting requirements. Monitor compliance with internal control regulations, as well as federal and state regulatory bodies for ongoing financial reporting regulations and requirements. Assist in other corporate accounting internal management reporting and external financial reporting as needed. Coordinate with and support management and auditors in their review and audit of internal controls. Support good business practices and the concepts of fairness, accountability and excellence through accurate and timely internal control documentation. Provide recommendations to management regarding changes and improvements in internal controls. Research, implement and present conclusions on internal control guidance as it relates to the Company. Coordinate and assist in FERC regulatory financial reporting and state utility commission supplemental financial reporting for electric and gas business lines.

Requirements A bachelor’s degree in accounting or business related discipline. 2 to 5 years of utility experience a plus. Broad knowledge of theory and general practices of subject area. Demonstrated strong understanding of the discipline and good understanding of business processes and operations. Public accounting experience and internal control compliance experience preferred. CPA preferred. Other combinations of education and/or experience may be considered.
