Job Description Avista is looking for an exceptional individual to provide technical leadership for our Customer Facing Technology Program development team. The Customer Solutions Solution Architect must have both the passion and skills to take our customer facing and customer engagement solutions and strategies to the next level. This person will work closely with other Solution Architects, Infrastructure Teams, Product Owners, Developers, and related disciplines on architecture, processes, environment configuration, multi-system data integrations, system deployments, and other improvements to rapidly deliver business value.
Requirements •Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study; equivalent experience may be considered as well
•Minimum of seven years of experience architecting solutions within consumer web and mobile applications
•Experience with customer relationship management, customer information systems and customer communication channels
•Experience working in an enterprise environment, interacting with infrastructure and application domains to collaborate and coordinate project interdependencies
•Broad knowledge of software development and software testing methodologies along with change and configuration management practices
•Knowledge of security risks, issues and mitigations for in-house and third party developed applications.
•A firm understanding of emerging technology trends and their application to evolving business models, especially in the utility space
•Experience in customer analytics utilizing system data as well as third-party data
•Some understanding of advanced analytics and machine learning capabilities
•Understanding of agile software development methodologies and how to support them with a flexible integrations architecture
•Familiarity with automated testing, deployment, continuous integration, and release engineering
•Experience working across multiple technology stacks such as Sitecore, C# development, API services, cloud micro-services, and other proprietary vendors
•Practical expertise in troubleshooting, performance tuning and optimization, bottleneck problems analysis, etc.
•Knowledge of cloud deployment strategies and issues
•Exceptional interpersonal skills including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
•Strong communication skills
