||Integrations Solution Architect
||Avista is looking for an exceptional individual to provide technical leadership for our Integrations team. The Integrations Solution Architect must have both the passion and skills to take our Integrations strategies, including Enterprise Service Bus (ESB),
BizTalk, managed file transfer and new integration capabilities to the next level. This person will work closely with other Solution Architects, Infrastructure Teams, Product Owners, Developers, and related disciplines on architecture, processes, environment
configuration, multi-system end-to-end integrations, system deployments, and other improvements to rapidly deliver business value.
||•Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study; equivalent experience may be considered as well
•Minimum of five years of experience working with Enterprise Service Bus, Service Oriented Architecture, and related technologies focusing on (but not limited to): General Messaging; Routing; Service Orchestration; Process Choreography; Web Services; Application
Adapters; ESB/SOA Systems Management; Transformation; Validation; Message Security.
•Experience working in an enterprise environment, interacting with infrastructure and application domains to collaborate and coordinate project interdependencies
•Broad knowledge of software development and software testing methodologies along with change and configuration management practices
•Significant experience with Microsoft BizTalk and related technologies
•A firm understanding of emerging technology trends and their application to evolving business models, especially in the utility space
•Understanding of agile software development methodologies and how to support them with a flexible integrations architecture
•Familiarity with automated testing, deployment, continuous integration, and release engineering
•Experience working across multiple technology stacks such as Microsoft, J2EE, Linux, and other proprietary vendors
•Knowledge of new integration technologies enabling lightweight, agile and self-service integration patterns
•Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft Team Foundation Server
•Experience with networking, storage, and virtualization
•Experience working with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google, etc.) ant their related integration capabilities
•Practical expertise in troubleshooting, performance tuning and optimization, bottleneck problems analysis, etc.
•Understanding of integration patterns in heavy data-centric, stream processing and analytic environments
•Exceptional interpersonal skills including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
•Strong communication skills
