JOB SUMMARY: The Office 365 Global Admin I will provide maintenance and support for our Government Client’s Microsoft Office 365 (O365) suite. This role will work independently and as a part of a team to provide hands-on technical solutions, while providing top-level customer service. Under the direction of senior and/or mid-level resources, this role will be responsible to manage, configure, and troubleshoot certain aspects of O365, including support for IT projects which integrate with O365.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  

  • Creation and removal of user accounts 

  • Add additional required services to user accounts (i.e., Microsoft Project or Visio) 

  • Adding disclaimer statements to email message as part of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) effort 

  • Manage SPAM filters 

  • Opening and working Microsoft Premier tickets when necessary to correct a problem in Client environment 

  • Monitoring the Microsoft Health Dashboard and reporting any issues or concerns to the Client POCs for notice to the enterprise and Help Desk 

  • Provide knowledge base information to the Help Desk to remediate user issues at first call 

  • Assist in the management of OneDrive space 

  • Assist in the management, addition, and building of SharePoint site collections, User access/permissions, user profiles, file deletion retrievals, add-ins, and resource allocations 

  • Work with senior and mid-level resources to provide our Client with the following: 

  • Definition of user roles 

  • Configuration of email compliance management (i.e., email / data retention) 

  • Setup access to 

  • Smartphone/Tablet connections 

  • InTune configuration and management for Smartphone/Table connections 

  • Mobile Device Management (MDM) 

  • Creation and management of Mail rules 

  • Maintenance of both production and test tenants to Microsoft best practices 

  • Maintenance of the O365 eDiscovery components in the event that Client determines to incorporate these features into its litigation hold and/or search and export procedures

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience 

  • 1+ years’ experience maintaining a government O365 environment supporting a large user base with emphasis on high availability and uninterrupted 24/7 messaging services 

  • 2+ years’ experience providing technical support in an enterprise environment. 

  • Applicants subject to background checks, drug testing and government security investigations and must meet eligibility requirements related to the clearance process 

  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable personal vehicle 

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:  The majority of work for this role is performed in a home office and interacts with a wide variety of people with differing functions, personalities, and abilities. Telecommuters are expected to have sufficient home office space that appears neat, organized, and professional when on video meetings. Travel is required and varies around 25%.
