Description

The Property Management Analyst supports the Regional Property Managers, helping to fiscally report on and manage their portfolio of multi-family properties.

  • Analyze property financials and look for deficiencies, review manager reports for the Regional Manager or supervisor, perform tasks as requested to better run the portfolio.
  • Directly support senior management and the acquisitions and development departments with all financial needs and projects.
  • Analyze financial performance of potential and current properties and portfolios and prepare/present investment and strategic planning recommendations.
  • Reviewing industry surveys and benchmarks, economic and demographic trends.
  • Prepare detailed analysis of properties which include operating and financial statements, tenants, leases, taxes and insurance.
  • Assists in ensuring all sites in the portfolio are appropriately marketed.
  • Performing in-depth industry, market and competitor research.
  • Produce and/or review market surveys.
  • Maintains awareness of local market conditions and trends. Contributes ideas to the manager for marketing property and for improving resident satisfaction.
  • Work closely with due diligence team and transitions to coordinate transitions and due diligence of properties for acquisitions.
  • Plan study of work problems and procedures, such as organizational change, communications, information flow, integrated production methods, inventory control, or cost analysis.
  • Document findings of study and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes. 
  • Work with and help to develop the skills of the other Analysts.
  • Provide feedback to regionals and supervisors regarding property visits and identifying staff needs.
  • Travel as needed to assist with Due Diligence or transitions.
Requirements
  • Experience in either multi-family financial analysis, multi-family property management, multi-family leasing and/or marketing required.
  • Computer knowledge MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to act independently and make decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
