Description

This candidate works with all departments and all levels to ensure timely customer desktop support. In addition to trouble shooting hardware & software failures, this position will also be the liaison to the help desk managed service provider, assist with hardware/software setup, deployment of new equipment and telephony needs. This role reports to the CIO.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates, collaborates and directs, contracted help desk managed service provider
  • Troubleshoot tickets (via helpdesk software- ConnectWise) and deskside support both on-site support and remote support
  • Equipment troubleshooting/maintenance (printers/copiers/telephones)
  • Ordering and maintenance of computers, peripherals, cell phones and Ipads
  • Diagnose and solve hardware and software issues
  • Mobile applications troubleshooting (IOS)
  • Testing and imaging desktops and laptops
  • Assist in the coordination of new hire setups
  • Assist in the installation of software
  • Manage the mobile device management application (MaaS360)
  • Ensure all computers meet company security procedures and policies
  • Develop and maintain software license audit log
  • Prepare IT equipment budget and monitor costs * Conference Room – Audio/Video assistance (High Five)
  • On-site secondary VOIP support (8X8)
  • Assist in the coordination and move of employees – handling and lifting of computers will be required
Requirements

 

  • At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in IT desktop experience
  • Bachelor or Associates degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of Windows 10 or certification is required
  • A+ and / or Network+ certifications are preferred
  • Knowledge of apple products strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of MaaS360 is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and use discretion
  • Must demonstrate professionalism and initiative
  • Highly skilled in multi-tasking, planning, organizing, and prioritizing'
  • Detail oriented with ability to work independently
