The Carpet Cleaner contributes to the success of by providing the highest
standard of services possible to the residents quality of life by ensuring the comfort and
cleanliness of their home in alignment with’s mission, vision and core beliefs.


• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in related filed preferred


• Ability to work with computers
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Interact professionally with all customers, including older adults, disabled persons and co-workers
• Focused attention to detail and the ability to effectively handle multiple items/tasks , prioritize as required and adapt favorably to changing priorities
• Ability to effectively respond to emergency and/or crisis situations
• Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter
• Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal direction in English


1. Delivery of Services and Programs
• Implements cleaning procedures as outlined by department
• Ensures daily, weekly and monthly carpet cleaning schedules are followed and completed
• Ensures carpet machine is cleaned daily at the end of each shift
• Respond to Resident/Client needs and requests promptly, appropriately, and with respect at all times

2. Resident/Family/Client/Guest/Staff Relations
• Reports issues of security, health and/or safety to appropriate supervisor as soon as practicable possible
• Ensure resident rights are preserved
• Foster appropriate communication and relations between Resident, Family, Client, Guest and Staff

3. Regulatory Compliance
• Uses Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.)
• Complies with MSDS information
• Assure timely completion of all required reports and forms
• Supports and demonstrates safety throughout all duties performed

4. Resident/Family/Client/Guest/Staff Relations
• Attend staff meetings as required
• Attend appropriate training, seminars and workshops as required
