Currently, be.group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Regents Point, our continuing care retirement community located in Irvine, CA. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
•High School diploma, or equivalent

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITY:
•Ability to work with computers
•Effective verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to demonstrate interpersonal skills and willing to help foster a positive working environment
•Maintain appropriate level of confidentiality and privacy
•Interact professionally with all customers, including older adults, disabled persons and co-workers, individually and as a part of a team
Requirements •Focused attention to detail and the ability to effectively handle multiple items/tasks, prioritize as required and adapt favorably to changing priorities
•Effective ability to make appropriate judgments and decisions, in a timely manner and within the context of the situation at hand
•Problem solving ability

OBJECTIVES/ACTIVITIES

1.Delivery of Services and Programs
a.Repair and maintain equipment in resident units and in community.
b.Maintain emergency equipment for Arial system
c.Respond to Resident/Client needs and requests promptly, appropriately and with respect at all times
d.Proper and effective usage of time, resources, supplies and budget

2.Resident/Family/Client/Guest/Staff Relations
a.Report issues of security, health and/or safety to appropriate supervisor as soon as practicable
b.Ensure resident right are preserved
c.Foster appropriate communication and relations between Resident, Family, Client, Guest and Staff

3.Regulatory Compliance
a.Follow established policies and procedures
b.Understand and comply with all regulatory standards set forth by governing entities
c.Assure timely completion of all required reports and forms
d.Maintain Resident/Family/Client confidentiality and privacy in accordance with HIPAA regulations, be.group’s Commitment to Quality and Employee Standards of Conduct

4.Professional Development
a.Willing to be cross-trained in other skills
b.Attend staff meetings as required
c.Attend all appropriate training, seminars and workshops as required
d.Complete all required computer-based training by the due date
